In Form 4, we already learnt about how to measure range, interquartile range, variance and standard deviation for ungrouped data as a measure to descrice dispersion.

Today, we will discuss about grouped data and we will measure the range, interquartile range, variance and standard deviation. How we can calculate all the values? Watch this video, and find the answer.

Measures of Dispersion

One more thing that we will learn, is how to construct box-plot and interpret box-plot for a set of grouped data. We have learnt that a box-plot is a method to display a group of numerical data graphically based on the 5 number summary of data (highest boundaries for lowest class, first quartile, median, third quartile and highest boundaries for last class). Watch this video, to know further about constructing box-plot and how to interpret it.

How to construct Box-plot?

Hope this video will help us to understand this topic. For your enrichment, do answer the question provided in this video. All the best.
